McDonald and KFC’s chicken nuggets…this is how the look before you eat them!

When I see shit like this I’m SOOOO glad being vegetarian!!

What you see in this picture is not a yummy strawberry ice cream and is also not a marshmallow.

Believe it or not, this is McDonald’s chicken…and not a special kind. This is the kind that is shipped to all burger joints around the world.mcd-nugget

This mechanically separated chicken is what they use for chicken nuggets and patties. How do they make it? Are you sure you want to know?

The chicken goes through a machine, called meat deboner, that smashes bones, and other parts of the poultry. The pink colour comes form the liver, heart and kidneys that are mashed together with the chicken.
Since the mixture crawls with bacteria, the chicken mash is spiked with ammonium hydroxide to kill the crawlers and anhydrous ammonia for refrigeration purposes. The blob then gets seasoned and flavored to give it that yummy chicken taste .

Finally, to change the color from pink to a more credible chicken-colour, they add tons of artificial colorants. Obviously this is not a McDonald ‘speciality’ since KFC also serves the same delicious nuggets!!

Oh ye…almost forgot…just to make things a little worse: a post appeared yesterday on IBT, shows a video taken by a former McDonald employee inside the a Philadelphia branch where he used to work, where it shows a mouse scurrying inside a bag of Big Mac buns.

The former employee told Fox News that he heard something moving inside the bun bag and saw the large mouse running over and between the burger buns.

Mice in restaurants are not an unusual thing…you’ve seen the movie of the little Chef Ratatouille, right?

This is all really disgusting…and if you think that a cheeseburger could be healthier…have a look at this post.

Thanks to Amanda for the tip.
